Near the site of the villa of Abicada there is a heptagonal shape building with a central pit and remains engine water intake (nora) and from which leaves a channel for water transport.
Are still visible around several channels for transporting water.
There is no documentation on this construction, even in the archives of Dr. José Formosinho who explored the villa of Abicada.
It is unclear whether this building is from the Roman or pre-Roman but it is relatively obvious that this was a device for watering the surrounding fields known to have been very fertile and cultivated during the Arab occupation, first, and Romans, after .
